RIP – Rudy Halek

Shipmates, on 22 August, 2024, Rudy K. Halek passed away in Avon Lake, Ohio. Rudy was an SN assigned to First Div. He made the ’68 WESPAC cruise. In 2021 he made his way West with Carl (Bubba) Shriner for the Reunion in Bremerton. Always a cheerful person, he will be missed. Rest peacefully Shipmate. Fair winds and following seas.
